Most video chat platforms leave it up to users to report problems, collect evidence, or block others. But Vividi takes a different approach. Our 360° Safety System is designed to detect and prevent inappropriate behavior before it reaches you. Here’s a quick guide to the safety tools we provide — and how to use them to keep your experience positive.

What’s the Vividi Badge?
The Vividi Badge is given to users who’ve spent enough time chatting without violating our community guidelines. It’s our way of encouraging a respectful culture. Since the badge can be taken away based on a user’s behavior, it helps you decide whether someone is likely to be a positive and respectful match.
Basic Tips for a Better Chat
We all want a friendly and safe space. Here’s what you can do:
- You don’t have to answer everything. If a question feels uncomfortable, it’s okay to say no or swipe away to end the chat.
- Keep your personal information private. Never share your phone number, address, or daily routine with someone you don’t know.
- If someone crosses the line, report or block them. This includes things like inappropriate language, nudity, requests for money, or pressuring behavior.
- Be respectful. Avoid commenting on someone’s looks, age, or gender. Also avoid rude language, insults, or dismissive behavior.
- Don’t hesitate to report. When you report someone, Vividi automatically captures the screen and audio at the time — so you don’t have to explain everything yourself. Just tap the shield button if something feels off.
Once a report is submitted, our team reviews it and takes appropriate action based on the situation. All reports are anonymous.
Stay on the Vividi Platform
Please keep your conversations inside the app or website. We can’t monitor what happens off-platform, and we may not be able to help if something goes wrong outside Vividi.
To protect yourself, don’t share your contact info or social media accounts. And if you ever feel unsafe or threatened, please contact your local authorities.

If Someone Behaves Inappropriately
- We’ll blur the screen and prompt you to report.If something inappropriate is detected during a chat, our built-in tools will automatically blur the screen and guide you through the reporting process. Once that’s done, we’ll match you with someone new.
- We block users who behave inappropriately from matching again.Our detection system runs 24/7. If someone breaks the rules, we act quickly to restrict them from connecting with others again.
- You can still report after a chat ends.If you didn’t get a chance to report during the chat, don’t worry. If our system detects suspicious behavior, you’ll be prompted afterward to review your experience and submit a report.
How to Report Someone
If something happens during a match, don’t panic. Just tap the shield icon in the top left of your screen. While your report is being submitted, we’ll blur the chat so you don’t have to continue watching.
Vividi automatically collects video or audio evidence — you don’t need to do anything additional. We aim to review all reports within 24 hours. Based on the findings, we may issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.
In certain cases, you can check the Notification Center to confirm that your report was received and whether action was taken. You can also review or unblock users from your Settings → Blocked Users.
Vividi’s Commitment to Protecting Minors
Vividi is for adults only. We work hard to prevent underage users and related content from appearing on our platform. If you come across someone who appears underage or claims to be, please report them immediately.
